Sue Matt Steph Peter
Steph, Teena, Sue, Pete (Sues' husband) and Matt (Sues' son) all met outside the National Portrait Gallery in Trafalgar Square at 8.15am. This was the first time Steph had run in the London 10k. We went to the bag holding area and then on to the start. We were very early and actually started running within the first 100 people.
Matt is young and fit and managed to complete the 10k in 42 minutes. He was disappointed he was not one of the first 100. Pete came next at 54 mins then Steph and Teena. Sue was last in at 1 hour 31 mins.
It is very exciting running with over 6,000 people and the crowds cheering us on. Also there were steel bands and radio presenters at various points along the course.
